I've looked through your works (you're quite popular, can't help but notice) and there was one thing that bothered me - it was Mewlody whom you gave pinkish blush. Okay, I thought, perhaps you just assumed she's gray-skinned rather than covered in fur, that's fine by me. Clawdeen reportedly plucks all body hair so that is easy to believe. But now I came across this pony and it's blushing too. It also has eyebrows, and the way they are painted suggests there is no fur around them. I understand it looks neat but perhaps using different colour would work better at showing shadows/lightplay (I'm guessing that's what you're going for with these). I still think you're doing great work with your repaints and giving the toys new personalities, just thought I'd tell you this since it strikes me as sort of odd.

thanks^^
yes, I know them all are supposed to be fluffy creatures, but then I only could paint their eyes and mouth a bit, and it would be too less work for a repaint to me.
I've seen a lot of BJD and monster high makeups, and almost all the makeup artists use pink blushing and put eyebrows on furry creatures, because after all they are more dolls than cats or werewolves :p I mean, eyebrows help with expressions and pink blushing makes them look more alive and cute, I guess that's why we love to use them so much :p
I hope I didn't sound rude or something, I was just trying to explain my vision about it
thanks for your critique and well exposed opinion :)

Most of all I was curious of why you choose to paint them that way and I am satisfied with your answer :) I am by no means an expert and I wouldn't dare paint over my dolls myself but I find the practice fascinating and it's always interesting to find out how others view it. Thank you for your exhaustive answer and keep up good work!

She's such a cutie! I love the shape and color of her eyes. The blush around her face was a nice addition, too. :)

My little pony ( La primera serie no la nueva.)
